This solo music project, driven by vocalist Nether (formerly of babysitter, tosinn, and cocklobin), began in 2016.Initially centered around collaborations with other artists, HEROINE released its first EP, Kasyu (“Summer/Fall”), in September of the same year. Nether contributed the track “resume” to Kazutoshi Yokoyama’s album YARN, and Iori Minamoto-produced “LASTWILL” and “Voice on Autumn” with ryo and Minamoto Iori.However, due to changing times and the global pandemic, the project went dormant. After a long silence, HEROINE reawakened in July 2024 through a crowdfunding campaign.In October, the project re-emerged at a themed live event titled Yoru (Night), joined by support musicians izumi and Yuu.Their second single, ANATHEMA, was released featuring artists Watashi wa Ukabinagara Shizumu, izumi, and Tokusen OhasHi. In November, the campaign reached its goal of 3.5 million yen, marking a full-scale return. On March 30, 2025, HEROINE held its first one-man show HUMMING, with support members:Gt: Hakuta Yuto / Gt &amp; Manipulator: izumi / Ba: Shindo Wataru / Dr: Mizuno Takuya.At the same time, the first full album MIDNIGHT was released, available on all major streaming platforms as of April 23. In May, a Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka tour titled“The sensation that still pulses at the end of an outstretched hand”was launched alongside Umiyuri and Watashi wa Ukabinagara Shizumu.The tour-exclusive spiritual CD introduced the new song “FALL IN DEATH.” HEROINE gives new sound and light to voices almost forgotten, emotions long buried.It is a subtle but certain heartbeat—one that resonates in the silence, reaching deep into unseen places.
